A REAL-BEARDED SANTA FROM CENTRAL GEORGIA!
“JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON”
Is the main thought in my mind when becoming Santa Bob!
The 2024 season was marked by a lot of uncertainty. I had a terrible accident in January of 2024 and was uncertain whether I would even walk again. But God was so good to me, and through lots of prayer from family and friends and extensive therapy, I recovered in time to have another great year of being Santa. I had the delightful opportunity to interact with numerous children, making it the most gratifying season yet. As in previous years, additional events were incorporated, such as the Christmas Festival at Hidden Haven in Milner, GA, photo shoots, schools, assisted living homes, Chick-fil-A locations, Zaxby's locations, etc. Those were in addition to the best place ever to be Santa during the Christmas season: Rhodes Hall / The Castle on Peachtree! Children have been coming to see me at Rhodes Hall for 8 years now and truly believe that is my home during Christmas.
As always, the expressions of joy on the children's faces were profoundly touching and inspirational. It truly felt like a return to the essence of Christmas for children of all ages. Of special importance were the heartwarming interactions, which were an experience in themselves.
In 2026, I will be entering my 12th year as Santa, and I am just as excited and full of anticipation about seeing all those children as I was in previous years. The year promises to be the best ever: vibrant and bustling, featuring fresh events accessible to everyone.
For me, Santa Claus epitomizes love, hope, and generosity for all individuals. Witnessing the radiant smiles on children's faces is an unparalleled blessing. Throughout my life, I have engaged with children through sports and church activities like drama and music, Sunday School, and Bible School—roles I've undertaken since I was old enough to contribute in those capacities. With 60 years of marriage, two children, five grandchildren, and now one great-grandson, I am a dedicated member of my church, deeply committed to addressing global needs.
In the upcoming season, I will once again do my utmost to embody the Spirit of Christmas, nurture imagination, and instill hope in everyone I encounter. I am a dedicated member of my church, deeply committed to addressing global needs.

THE SANTA OATH
From the Santa Claus Oath Foundation
I will seek knowledge to be well versed in the mysteries of bringing Christmas cheer and good will to all the people that I encounter in my journeys and travels.
I shall be dedicated to hearing the secret dreams of both children and adults.
I understand that the true and only gift I can give, as Santa, is myself.
I acknowledge that some of the requests I will hear will be difficult and sad. I know in these difficulties there lies an opportunity to bring a spirit of warmth, understanding and compassion.
I know the "real reason for the season" and know that I am blessed to be able to be a part of it.
I realize that I belong to a brotherhood and will be supportive, honest and show fellowship to my peers.
I promise to use "my" powers to create happiness, spread love and make fantasies come to life in the true and sincere tradition of the Santa Claus Legend.
I pledge myself to these principles as a descendant of St. Nicholas the gift giver of Myra.
